How to Choose the Right PPH Filter Housing
Confirm chemical compatibility
Start with the process fluid. PPH filter housings are often selected for acid, alkali, plating, and corrosive liquid applications where chemical compatibility is more important than metal construction.
Choose bag or cartridge filtration
Use a PPH bag filter housing when dirt loading is higher or change-out needs to be simple. Use a PPH cartridge filter housing when finer filtration, multiple micron choices, or compact installation is required.
Match flow, pressure, and pipeline size
Confirm flow rate, operating pressure, inlet and outlet size, connection type, housing volume, and pressure drop. The housing must support both normal operation and safe maintenance access.
