The grooved melt blown filter cartridge uses a grooved outer surface to increase effective filtration area and improve dirt-loading performance in sediment-heavy applications. It is a practical upgrade from smooth PP melt blown cartridges when feed water contains higher suspended solids or replacement intervals need improvement.
